Are you one of those people who is always waiting for the perfect time to do something? Let me let you in on a little secret. There is never a perfect time. Yep, that's right. I use to believe that there had to be a perfect time for me to do what I wanted to do. After years of sitting and waiting for the perfect time to accomplish my goals I realized that the people around me were out accomplish their goals because they decided to do something. I was still in the same place accomplishing nothing. As a Christian I believe that God orders our steps, however, we must keep stepping for Him to order our steps. God is not going to map out a path for you to walk on if you are not taking steps. A path can only be created when a place is walked upon.
It is never a perfect time to accomplish your goals you just have to take one step at a time and you will see the results. Stop thinking about your goals and start doing the work to accomplish them. My advice to anyone thinking about starting out on your own is to count the cost but, “throw caution to the wind.” You have to be like “Curious George” because success is accomplished through trial and error. You have to be willing to test the waters. Extraordinary things are accomplished by ordinary people who are not afraid to look crazy before others. Peter, one of Jesus' disciple was not afraid to look crazy before his peers. While they were out on a boat one night, Jesus came walking on the sea to them. When they saw him they were afraid because they thought he was a ghost. Jesus called out to them and said do not be afraid it is me. Peter was so amazed at seeing Jesus walking on the water that he said, Lord, if it's you command me come? Jesus told him to come, and Peter went walking on the water. While the other disciples stood in the boat saying to each other, where is he going, he is crazy. Peter wasn't worried about what the others were saying, he knew Jesus was doing something he had never seen before and he wanted to do it too. He didn't think about all the reasons why man cannot walk on water, he just stepped out of the boat and walked.
Although the time may never be perfect to step out maintaining an attitude of gratitude is important as you make your steps. Be thankful for your blessings no matter how small they may seem. Jesus told His disciples if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can speak to the mountain and it will move (Matthew 17:20). Don’t judge your success based on others but on your ability to accomplish your goals, dreams and plans you have implemented for your life. Never leave God behind. Keep Him at the head of all things, for when He is the head everything else will fall right into place.
Live empowered to make the right decisions and become successfully you. Extraordinary things are possible. Remain focus on your goals. Keep God as the head of all things. It's never too late to start dreaming.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. 23 And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there. 24 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. 25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. 27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” 28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” 29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.
